Secondary Data Collection

After a time without write in this blog, I have returned and will publish at least 1 post per month. In English.  The reason is that I have been living in Miami since may.

This post is about secondary data collection. We only go to the primary research, which is more expansive and take more time, after looking at all the available market research already completed from all sources.

First, to do a good report with secondary market research, you have to find more than one source, to have more quality in your study. A good report joins public sources, private sources and your primary market research.

Second, the professional researcher looks for research in the web, or in different  publications. It is recommended to plan first, planning a lot about what you want to find. It is also recommended not to use data that is older than 5 years, of course all is relative, but  old data means less credibility in the work. A good market research professional never forgets to mention the names  of all his sources and he wants to prove with them.

Last, a good market research with secondary data is as good as with research. It all depends on the analysis, the most important step in the
market intelligence cycle.
